Kiki's Delivery Service 1989
Infinitely rewatchable and always provides new insight and wisdom. A truly empathetic, cathartic movie. Returning to this movie at different points of my life and still relating to it but for new reasons. Beautiful.

Stoned thinking incomplete/underbaked thoughts about how the Xenomorph sort of represents a modern cultural god deity (to people like me) but I don’t have the brain power to elaborate on that rn.

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
This movie had me VIOLENTLY crying in the theatre, I totally fucked up my makeup and my mask was wet with tears by the end but it was well worth it.
Someeee of the humour/creative decisions were a little hit or miss for my taste, but that’s ok!!!
Michelle Yeoh’s performance was the best part of the movie for me. She destroyed me.
