Ryan Gosling as Mr. Dunne history teacher wants to make a difference. He is drug addicted and finds himself helping a student and she him in a way.He’s crossing a lot of lines but not a particular one . It’s not a film big on plot but more of a character study. Gosling’s performance is nuanced and layered.
The irony is when a replacement teacher is assigned all the students want to know is when Mr.Dunne is returning he’s making…
