Having read the book recently I’d been keen to catch up in this one. It’s beautifully shot, and I could watch Blanchett for days, but I think I might have enjoyed it more if I’d switched the order?
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023

Implausible as hell, but full of all the vehicular chases, historical macguffins and fights you expect from an Indy flick (oh, and of course Nazis). After having just gone through the rest of the series it was interesting to see how they played out his future life, and the film was also loaded with callbacks. Family fun.

He discusses his desires and motivations without shame or censorship, even when it comes to some of his more controversial content and his feelings towards women (which I suppose could be called a love/hate relationship), and the same matter-of-fact delivery extends to the members of his immediate family…
