I have three precious kids. That this kind of trafficking is going on in the world today, there are no words to express the sorrow.

I owe watching this to my wife, without whom I would never have chosen to see it. I think I was “all in” after about five minutes. This film was thoroughly enjoyable. The actors were brilliant. Casting superb. Makeup and costume design outstanding. Sadly I can’t really fault this film. It deserves five stars.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Superb up until just before it ended. Though the 4:3 was unexpected for me and felt like a poor choice. Hands down feet up it was better than the other one especially in how it opens up the universe for more films rather than shutting everything down. It’s a shame we’ll never see that timeline. I suppose it’s fitting. Perhaps Batman succeeded after all.

This film covers a spectrum of topics all connected to understanding what the gospel really is and also, very importantly, what it is not. We live in an interesting time where there is a lot of confusion and deception in the Church and even the rest of the world as to what it even means to be Christian. American Gospel tackles the confusion head on and it doesn’t pull any punches. I think most Christians in the western world need to see this film. If you’re even slightly confused about what Christianity is, then you wouldn’t go wrong watching this film either.
