Your old pal slim.
Working hard on 70mmpod + Letterboxd.
I play ice hockey in my free time.
Miles’ parents standing in front of the window at the end like Luke and Leia, insane The Empire Strikes Back homage.
Also is this better than Empire? Hmmmmm yah yah. Dis has the potential to be the greatest trilogy of all-timmmmmme. I’ve been burned before tho so I’m approaching with caution. Kylo cracking jokes at the end TROS outa my frigging face YOU DIDNT EARN THAT ABRAMS. bUt hE’s aCtInG lIkE hiS dAd
Spider-Man’s the only superhero that is relatable…
These astronaut bozos land on a planet where they can breathe oxygen, see humans, horses, and apes speaking english while using guns and are like “wtf where are we??”
I'm a terrible swimmer but how about Taylor holding his nose when diving into the water off their sinking ship? This is who we are sending into space? I feel like this would fail day 1 of NASA Swimming Tests.
Unhinged moment when he was talking to Nova from his cell…
First and last scenes had me hypnotized.
Meditative and contemplative. Forces you to think about your own decisions made over the years and wonder if you can make peace with them. Their conversations in that bed? Cripes alive.
Probably gonna spend $80 on the A24 store for a Blu-Ray of this.
A triumph.
Boys night at the theater seeing our sweet kings. Father and son fog all over this rating but it doesn’t get any better. Great moment with us sitting in silence before the movie started as we both overheard someone talking about a recent big release and how it compared to the books. My son turns to me and pushes up his invisible glasses, lol. Another triumph.
Fun movie for Real Fans likes us and it goes HAWRD into the Hollow Earth lore. Lots of ties to the older movies. AMC pretzel nib cheese remains undefeated.
Rebecca Hall, call me.
