The Birdcage 1996
Tonight I double-featured this and 'La Cage Aux Folles." Seeing the changes made between the 1978 French film and this cements 'The Birdcage' as a masterpiece in my mind, both in terms of updating the film to to match a 1990s American context, but shifting the moral of the story to one much more focused on found family.
