    Planet of the Apes

    ★★★★

I remember asking my dad if the original Planet of the Apes was worth watching after seeing the musical sketch on The Simpsons as a kid. The only real knowledge I had of the film came from that show, as they had a habit of referencing it quite a bit. He told me that the main draw of the film was the twist ending, and that it probably wouldn’t be that enjoyable to watch it going in with that knowledge.…

    Boy Kills World

    ★★★½

Boy Kills World sort of teeters between a 3 and a 3.5 stars for me. On the one hand, it’s an incredibly fun film. The action is mostly really good, well-choreographed and easy to follow. I don't know if this series can be counted as a "kids show" after this, because death, depression,…

    Avengers: Endgame

    ★★★★½

Avengers: Endgame is the perfect end to the MCU. I know it’s not the end, and I look forward to the upcoming movies, but this is definitely the devide. From now on, Marvel will fall into to categories; Before Endgame, and after Endgame. And as that roadblock, that conclusion to the first decade worth of movies, I don’t think I could ask for much more.
