It’s a good world builder, but this movie relies way too heavily on (and also underutilizes) the fact that John Lithgow is an amazing actor.

There were approximately 15 knocks on doors in the first ten minutes of this movie. I know because after every one I looked to see if our pup was going to think someone was at the door. Warning: there is a jumpscare knock late in the movie that caught us both off guard.
