Unfortunately, I never really gave this a chance before now, but god it’s so good. It works as so much more than just a precursor to one of the greatest films ever made, but also the excellent origin story of an iconic hero complete with Nolan’s signature ingenious visual style and taste for theatrics. Genuinely sends chills down my spine watching that ending, knowing what’s to come in The Dark Knight.

The Batman 2022
After nearly two whole years, I FINALLY got around to rewatching this film in full. And wow, it’s just as good as I remember it. The best Batman film, hands down. This is the only film where I regularly listen to just the score alone because it’s that good. I love this movie so much. God bless Matt Reeves.
