    Sometimes a film is simply calibrated for my precise sensibilities… aesthetically, sonically, tonally, emotionally. The most refreshing part is that other than including some deep cut characters (OMG, Scumbug!!), this movie never uses nostalgia as a crutch, or even indulges in it much at all.
