Fun superhero movie and an exciting beginning to the movie franchise. Sure, there's some cheesy dialogue, plot points that don't make sense, and some casting choices that could have been better. But Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellan, and Hugh Jackman all turn in especially excellent performances. And I appreciate the nuance of Magneto: you can understand, from his past trauma, where he's coming from, even if you don't agree with his position or his methods.

As a "what you don't see is scarier" creature-in-the-woods movie, this is not bad. If it had stayed a creature-in-the-woods movie, that would've been great. Firstly, this movie was practically architecture porn; I could have watched it just for that. Then, there was the delightful car chase/shoot-out/game of Frogger on Place de l'Étoile with L'Arc de Triomphe in the background. I couldn't help but find John Wick's game of...…

A straightforward comedy with rom-com elements. Not my usual genre, which is why it's my first time seeing it. Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver are always fun to watch. It requires great suspension of disbelief, but was a fun 110 minutes.
