Top 20 Films about Filmmaking

This list was inspired by the Babylon Showdown, and it turns out I like a lot of them! Once I narrowed this down to 20, I realized half are documentaries, so it's also a pair of Top-10 lists about filmmaking -Narrative & Non-Fiction- though if you've seen a few of these you'll know that line tends to get blurred!

I wanted to steer away from movies that simply use the industry as a backdrop for another story or genre. My 3 main qualities:

-How much did I like the movie?
-How much of it is about filmmaking?
-Does it provide an original perspective or critique about filmmaking?
