insane amounts of "hell yes!" one of the best horror comedies of all time. amazing performance from the ENTIRE cast. great practical effects & VFX. the muddled themes & those last 15 mins kinda hurt the film a bit. it feels like an eat-the-rich film and then it ends up being about the rich punishing those who steal from them & the thieves depending the benevolence of the rich to survive? idk. but still, i had a LOT of fun with it. matt…

i'll tolerate a 100 "live action" disney remakes by guy ritchie if i can get one carefully crafted, perfectly oiled, highly explosive, guy ritchie extravaganza like this.
one of the best performances from an ensemble cast. everyone is so fucking locked in & in command of the frame. as harry styles likes to say, it's a movie that looks like a mooooovie (courtesy of ed wild). the sound design & the score by james herbert is FANTASTIC. love it.

i can't believe how fucking BORING #fighter is. it copies maverick's style but fundamentally misunderstands what made it so exhilarating. THEN there's the kashmir, pok, janab, burqa, jannat, inteqaam, good muslim, bad muslim nonsense & everyone blabbers SO MUCH!

i never do this, especially if there is an upcoming hrithik roshan dance, but took a walk while sher khul gaye started playing. i couldn't handle the film's jarring swings between bland rom-com stuff (there's a dead wife here too) & jingoistic hindustan…

i don't think any movie, show, or miniseries has made me laugh, cry, & sent chills down my spine as much as richard gadd's #babyreindeer did. the way it tackles the sexual harassment & abuse faced by men is riveting. and that ending? omg, i'll need some time to process this.

some of my scattered thoughts on the miniseries is up on digital mafia talkies. give it a read if you wanna.
