This was beautiful. I like my warewolves movies sad, sexy and gory, and Blackout delivered exactly that. Great modern spin on a classic that I really love. I feel like if Long Chaney's portrayal of the warewolf wouldn't have been so devastatingly emotional then we wouldn't have such beautiful renditions as this one. Warewolf movies should always have that nice touch and that's why I love them so much. It's hard to fight something inside that tales over and youβ¦

Un conjunto de elementos que se adecΓΊan de manera casi mΓ‘gica a mis gustos personales. SΓΊper bien narrada, con un momento de animaciΓ³n hermoso y un cachondeo con Barbara Crampton, no pido nada mΓ‘s porque me dio todo.
Fessenden completes his "monster trilogy" with his patented low-budget effectiveness. Blackout, a modern take on small-town politics and bullshit brings out the inner wolf in an artist struggling to find his voice, is the kind of heartfelt horror cinema that Glass Eye Pix and Fessenden has been delivering for decades. A strong performance from Alex Hurt (who certainly has some shades of his dad, John Hurt) really solidifies this as one of the gems of the year to discover.
If this kick-starts a sub-genre where werewolves dispense vigilante justice against racist assclows, I'm all in.
Faceless After Dark is a riveting commentary on typecasting and mental health toll it can take. Thanks to an illuminating, and equally terrifying, performance from Jenna Kanell. Faceless has marvelous horror elements that draws you to the edge of your seat until the chilling end.
