Peter Hyams almost never gets due respect, case in point a multiple vehicle chase scene through a parking garage that is shot mostly from car POV in this movie that is never talked about and absolutely should be.
Videodrome Plaza Atlanta 35mm Screening
Just absolutely incredible. This was always meant to be seen with a live audience. And the print was in immaculate condition, especially for how difficult it is to get ahold of. I loved this and I wish there was a recording of the commentary the lady behind me was giving. Yes lady, Tony Leung is hot as fuck and yes that sketch of him is hot as fuck as well.
actually vibrating with joy after catching this with a whole pile of friends on 35mm at a sold-out plazadrome screening. i have had a shitty past few weeks and all of that emotional baggage has been replaced by jazz and paper cranes.
That one interviewer in Irma Vep wearing the Schwarzenegger shirt going on about how John Woo movies are ballet was talking about this movie
Sold out showing in 35mm at Plaza. When Tequila jumped out of the exploding hospital, I felt God in this theater.
One of the coolest movies ever. End of story. Plazadrome undefeated. Three-movie day. Highlights: Everything in between the opening and closing credits.
Imagine your pussy being that powerful...she's just like me fr!!!! She didn't do anything wrong...her sex magic was just too good!! 🤷🏽♀️ Relatable
i bet the confederate ghosts would hate to find out the name of this movie...they probably think its called "two thousand normal guys"
