The definition of a bone-chiller.

Audition has a devilish sense of misdirection that will leave you reeling as its skin-crawling intentions are horrifyingly revealed.

The film crescendos like a firework and will have new viewers feeling glued to the screen by forces detached from our most basic human instincts of self-preservation.

Pick a side, there's no winners in this dark and twisted horror/romance from Takashi Miike that forces the hand of fate in whatever manner it sees fit, no matter how toe-curling.

Simply unnerving, a must-watch.

A haunting affair. Lake Mungo is measured in every beat and breaks down your guard until you are at the mercy of its eerie, sinister revelations.

It blurs the line between what is real and fake until you can feel the collective delirium and fear of the events in motion. If you succumb to the idea that the story could all be true, you will feel a serious sense of dread well after the credits roll.

In the end, Lake Mungo is a deeply unsettling work of psychological horror.
