Pure junk. It's high camp, garishly cartoonish; both giddily compelling and cringingly embarrassing in equal measure. At least it seems to get how ridiculous it is, and kind of leans into it, which I sort of admire...I guess. But, we're done now, right? If Aquaman 2 is what comic book movies have developed into after 20 years of box office domination, maybe audiences deserve something else, yes?
