Both get mucky clothes and dirty hands, as they fervently tweak, trim and adjust their work to create an aesthetic world of their own.

"This thoughtful and carefully observed documentary was directed by renowned filmmaker Jeong Jaeeun. We see a captivating portrayal of the cats as equal partners in society rather than mere recipients of care from affectionate humans. In a city marked by perpetual creation and destruction, this documentary emphasises the roles that we all play, animal and human, in the world around us."

Their lives splayed out on screen, letting our protagonists have a peek; a dip of the toe in the life what has been lived and what has perished over the last 80 or so yearsā¦

Absolutely crazy how a low-key, German, localisedĀ drama about a young teacher making a few naieve mistakes in the infancy of her career can be SO captivating. Ā
