I think I had a lot of fun watching The Fall Guy, which isn’t perfect but is guaranteed to be a smash hit with audiences. Even though the central romance isn’t the most believable, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt individually are rizz personified and blind you to the parts of this that are unnecessarily convoluted (I wish it committed to being a romcom set entirely on a movie set/about making movies instead of a halfway outlandish crime comedy with a million things going on but whatever). Ultimately it’s a love letter to stunt performers and the often thankless crews that make it all happen and to that I say HELL YES.
