    this felt like it met the expectations it set for itself. kind of reminded me of the a teacher series with nick robinson + kate mara where it tries to walk the line between showing the horror and insidiousness of this type of relationship and showing the excitement  of it from the characters’ perspectives (while ideally not just fully leaning into romanticizing the situation) but never finds its footing.

    really enjoyed this one!! the electric tension and eroticism throughout was exciting to watch. each of the main three characters is pretty messed up in their own way, but they all want something so badly and sometimes those things intersected and sometimes they conflicted, but ultimately all i wanted was for them to all be happy together (in whatever way that needed to be)!
