The Weekend Away 2022
So many unearned twists and turns this movie has an impossible time staying focused.

The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster 2023
Some good moments and definitely some not so good moments. Giving the movie a little benefit of the doubt cause it’s a low budget film, but there are also a lot of boring moments in what is running alongside a pretty creative plot.

Dune: Part Two 2024
Fantastic movie. It’s going to be hard to beat this for my favorite film of the year. Villain origin stories are awesome to watch especially when they come at the hand of an [anti] hero. Already want to see this movie in theaters again. As someone who isn’t typically a fan of this genre, Dune is catapulting me into it…I feel like I can’t get enough.

Air 2023
If you like a sports movie that has very little to do with sports this is for you. I would liken this “sports genre” to something like Moneyball or Jerry Maguire, it’s kind of a sports adjacent movie but there are no direct sporting moments in the film.
