The Wind That Shakes the Barley 2006
“Tiocfaidh ár lá“
I just finished watching this masterpiece and all I can think about is the effect of “ katharsi” Aristotle talked about while describing the results of watching a tragedy, maybe because I feel like that, purified from those emotions. A very impactful film that shows a story of blood in search of freedom and the complicated relationship between humans and how hard, almost impossible, is to actually understand each other. A story that is still very actual and that has a lot to show and teach. Loved it.
