It's a masterful depiction of groundbreaking Japanese New Wave from start to finish.

In a Lonely Place 1950
It's insanely unique for Humphrey Bogart much like The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre at displaying such dark characterization. Nicolas Ray was on a similar level to Billy Wilder at depicting raw darkness in such a subtle manner it remains timeless. It seems like a significant influence on Martin Scorsese & David Lynch.

Jurassic Park 1993
It reminds me of Terminator 2 in how the special effects are shockingly timeless. It's completely suspenseful & entertaining from start to finish which manages to hone into an adventurous perspective on nightmares as they unfold in reality much like War Of The Worlds.

Eyes Wide Shut 1999
One night, back when I was a sophomore in high school, I stumbled upon this notorious final film by Stanley Kubrick, who was and still is my all time favorite director. I went in knowing nothing except that it's supposedly highly erotic and involves Tom Cruise sneaking into a masked orgy club. I watched it and didn't think much of it outside of its neat atmosphere. I dismissed it as one of Kubrick's weaker films.
