oh my god, i loved this. i’m obsessed with jaques demy so i’m shocked it took me so long to watch. i knew that this was one of damien chazelles inspirations for la la land, but i didnt realize what elements he took from it. i thought it was mainly the colorful musical elements but i was SO WRONG. this was so devastating.
